Q. What about shopping? A. Reminiac, (2km) has a village bar/grocery. Malestroit has 4 supermarkets and a street market every Thursday. Guer is good for "daily needs." Vannes/Ploermel/Redon are larger centres with a wider range of shops/cafes/restaurants. Most small shops close for 2 hours at lunch time. Larger shops are open all day, until 8.00 pm.

Q. What is a "heating supplement"? A. Low season prices include a heating allowance for units of electricity. However, during colder periods, more electricity may be used for heating. The excess electricity used will be calculated, based on local rates, and deducted from the security deposit
